What's the difference between a flyscreen and a security screen?
Flyscreens provide insect protection and airflow but aren't designed for security. Security screens use stronger frames and mesh and are tested to Australian Standards.
Which mesh should I choose?
Fibreglass is great value. Aluminium is tougher. Pet mesh resists scratches. Midge mesh has finer holes for tiny insects (handy near creeks or the coast).
Will flyscreens block my view or airflow?
No. Low-glare meshes keep the breeze and visibility while stopping insects.
Can you fit flyscreens to my existing windows?
Yes — fixed, sliding, awning/hinged and double-hung windows are all made to your sizes and colour-matched to your frames.
How do I clean and maintain them?
Lift out where applicable and rinse with fresh water. Use mild soapy water on frames and mesh, then rinse and dry. Avoid harsh chemicals.
